Suzanne Kianpour

Suzanne Kianpour, an Emmy-nominated journalist specializing in global security and the Middle East, is the founder of Helmet to Heels™, a social impact brand that redefines how audiences engage with news - coining the art of ‘newsfluencing’ - by seamlessly blending fashion, travel, and current events. Building on her award-winning BBC series "Women Building Peace" in partnership with Georgetown's Institute for Women, Peace, and Security, Suzanne has created a platform that amplifies the voices of women worldwide, focusing on those driving change in the most challenging environments.

Her documentary Out of the Shadows, which explores the covert conflict between Israel and Iran, demonstrates Suzanne’s unparalleled ability to tackle sensitive geopolitical issues while captivating a diverse audience. This project, along with her News with Suz LIVE series, has drawn in a new generation of globally curious viewers, intertwining fit checks, fact checks, and insightful conversations with VIPs and newsmakers.

With over a decade of reporting experience from Washington to Beirut, Suzanne’s portfolio includes landing and conducting exclusive interviews with key global figures like Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif, former President Obama, former Secretaries of State Hillary Clinton and Mike Pompeo. She’s a trusted voice on critical topics and frequently appears as a public speaker at the World Economic Forum, COP, and the UN General Assembly, while also sharing her expertise as a professor of Public Diplomacy at UCLA and a fellow at Georgetown.
